Itinerary
After arrival in Kathmandu, our journey to explore the Himalayas begins right from here. One of our representatives would pick you all from the airport and takes take you to your hotel. In the evening we would have discussion related and dinner hosted by Going Nepal.

Today is our second day of arrival. We will explore the picturesque of Kathmandu valley as much as we can. Primarily, we will initiate a guided tour to the historical and spiritual attraction in Kathmandu valley, which is enlisted in world heritage sites, and later introduce with fellow participants and prepare for our trek. We will be sharing some information related to the tools needed for the trek. Overnight in Kathmandu.

We will take a smooth drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara, you can take pleasure watching green mountains and villages throughout the journey. After reaching Pokhara, you will be accompanied to the hotel. As known for the best destinations for tourists in Nepal Pokhara offers the beautiful natural views that will make you crazy. Exploring its beauty, you will enjoy viewing magnificent peaks like Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, and Machhapuchhre with five peaks of Annapurna and soothing lakes. Then after having some rest you can also travel to the local places and appreciate their culture. Overnight in hotel at Pokhara.

We drive for two hours to Nayapul after having breakfast by taking our private cars with the driver to initiate our trek. We follow towards the south bank of the river from Nayapul. Walking for quite a lot of hours we enter through the sub-tropical valley forests, and sometimes on the engraved track on the side of the cliff. We will continue our journey and cross the Modi Khola River through a suspension bridge to the village Tikhedhunga for the overnight. We can go for a further trek if time allows us to the trail that is too steep and reaches to Ulleri by late afternoon for the overnight.

Our journey ascends towards the Ghorepani today. Its name was Ghodepani because I used to be an important campsite for the traders long before it became a trekker’s teahouse. Ghodepani in Nepali stands for horse water. It is a fascinating place containing small shops and stalls for selling local products and crafts as well. The town comprises of two parts; one is a kloof and other a few hundred feet lower. As Ghodepani exist quite higher than a previous stop, so because of this attitude we sense the chilly weather, particularly in the evenings. Overnight in Ghodepani encompassing the lovely view of Annapurna & Dhaulagiri mountain range.

Moving through the forest of rhododendron, today our trail descends towards Kimrong Khola (A small mountain river). After then we walk towards Chhomrong village across the Gurung village where we can have our lunch. Chhomrong village offers you close by the magnificent view of Mt Annapurna south and Hiunchuli and also the virgin peak Mount Fishtail (Machhapuchhre) along with the long terrace village settlement. The major area for the settlement of Gurung tribe is Chhomrong village. Overnight in Chhomrong at the tea house.

Our trekking descends towards the Chhomrong Khola right after our breakfast and the trailhead us towards the small place named Sinuwa hill. Our trekking continues, and after that trek move into the upper Modi Khola valley. After having lunch our trekking moves downward to Bamboo forest through no settled forest area to Dovan. Dovan means the Dovan means a convergence point where 2 small rivers met. Crossing through the silent bamboo and rhododendron forest we ascend to Dovan. After 5 hours walk, we reach Dovan and halt at the teahouse.

You will almost be at the base of Annapurna base camp after a constricted Modi Khola valley trek. We will climb on past the Machhapuchhre base camp today which is not, in reality, a base camp, as mountain climbing is forbidden to Annapurna camp. The reason behind that is being an Annapurna sanctuary since it is totally surrounded by mountains. After having lunch, our trekking moves towards Deurali trekking to Machhapuchhre base camp, which is about 2 hours walking through the splendid Mountain Sight. The moment you stand right in the Sanctuary, the 360-degree views are awe-inspiring. Our Overnight stays with the nearby view of Machhapuchhre along Annapurna I and Gangapurna.

Today our trek lead us right in the heart of Sanctuary at the Annapurna base camp for an overnight stay as soon as we start our journey after having breakfast. For a few hours, the trails follow the arduous hill, that passes a small number of roofless huts of shepherds along with the moraine, and this region is breezy and snowbound as well. Reaching there would mesmerize you with its amazing scenery of Himalaya and the rarely seen panoramic view of snow-capped peaks around you. The rest of the scene where you have to relax and explore and spend time at base camp which takes you to the real Heaven of Earth.

Waking up to the sight of beautiful dawn over Mount Annapurna “I” and contiguous mountains, enjoying the close view of gigantic mountains, we retrace back our journey towards the Bamboo for the overnight stay. This place is well known for its well-equipped guest house, helping to promote tourism services. You can relax and take rest in the evening with beautiful memories of your journey-the gigantic snowcapped peaks and nature itself and enjoy your dinner.

On this day, our journey moves towards the Jhinu Danda (Hot Spring), a beautiful small top hill around. The track leads us towards the Khuldi Ghar and to Sinuwa hill, and from here the trekking continues up towards the Chhomriong village and up there we will have our meal, after that, we descend for two hours to Jhinu for our overnight stay. There you can have fun, bathing/playing in the hot pool, and also can visit the hot spring.

It’s a short day walk following mostly the river Modi through our way, till reaching at Landruk village for our lunch. Our trekking gradually moves on till we reach to Tolkha and stay for overnight. You can extend your short trip into the long one by trekking towards Pathana but this all depends on your interest and pace.

On this day our foot moves forward to the Dhampus, a popular splendid view of Annapurna View. From here you can receive a whole attractive view of Annapurna South and Mount Machhapuchhre. Our journey won’t halt there, rather it continues on the meandering path gradually towards Bhaise Kharka, a small village of the hill. After a few hours from there, you will reach to Pathana, a village that lies in the middle of the forest carrying the spectacular views of Annapurna and Manaslu range. You descend towards the village of Dhampus embracing the stunning scenery. After an hour of descending, we stand at Phedi and then drive to Pokhara. Overnight at Pokhara hotel.

Early in the morning you can stroll around the Lakeside areas and appreciate the scenic view and takes pictures as well. In the afternoon we proceed towards Pokhara airport and catch a flight to Kathmandu. After a moment you will reach to Kathmandu where we are desperately waiting to assist you in Kathmandu airport and take you to the hotel. We will have a farewell dinner with overnight, till then you will enjoy your own company relaxing at the hotel.

Our adventurous journey in Nepal comes to a conclusion today! But, not in fact because you have sufficient time on your way home to think and prepare for your next adventurous trip to the delightful country Nepal. This is a bit low-spirited moment as we had spent two weeks within the beauties of Nepal. But it’s the rule if there is an arrival there will be a departure. Nevertheless, Memento will always be there. So shaking hands and hugging we will depart with smile and glory.
