Overview
Dhorpatan Hunting Reserve is Nepal’s designated hunting reserve and a biologically important area of alpine meadows, temperate forests and traditional pastoral landscapes. It’s an off-the-beaten-track destination for wildlife viewing, trekking and cultural encounters.
Location & Accessibility
Distance from Kathmandu: Approximately 260–450 km depending on route; travel time 1–3 days by road.
Nearest Hub: Baglung, Myagdi, Beni depending approach.

Accessible by bus/jeep via Baglung or via Beni/Myagdi; roads include blacktop to junctions and gravel/off-road to reserve. Vehicle: jeep recommended. -
