Hotel Dwarika’s

Dwarika’s Hotel is one of Nepal’s most iconic heritage hotels, celebrated for its deep commitment to preserving traditional Newari architecture and craftsmanship. Founded by Dwarika Das Shrestha, the hotel began as a restoration effort to save centuries-old woodcarvings and architectural elements that were being discarded in Kathmandu Valley.

Today, the property is designed as a living museum, where handcrafted wooden columns, intricate brickwork, and traditional courtyards reflect the artistry of Nepal’s cultural past. The hotel’s architecture draws heavily from ancient palaces and temples, creating an atmosphere that feels both historic and serene.

Beyond its design, Dwarika’s is known for its refined luxury hospitality, offering spacious rooms, tranquil gardens, and wellness experiences rooted in Nepalese traditions. It provides guests with an immersive cultural stay, blending heritage preservation with modern comfort in the heart of Kathmandu.
