Arrival in Lhasa – Gateway to Tibet | Lhasa Airport – City (60 km | approx. 1.5 hrs)

Following breakfast, visit the architectural and spiritual heart of Tibet — the Potala Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Depart Lhasa after breakfast in a private luxury vehicle, ascending the Gampala Pass (4,790 m) for breathtaking views of Yamdrok Lake, one of Tibet’s most sacred turquoise lakes, framed by snow-capped peaks including Mount Nyenchen Khangsar (7,191 m).

Shigatse – Everest Base Camp | Drive: 380 km | approx. 8–10 hrs

After breakfast, journey toward the ultimate Himalayan icon — Mount Everest.
Cross Gyatsola Pass (5,280 m) for your first distant view of Everest, followed by a dramatic panorama at Gawula Pass (5,198 m), where five of the world’s highest peaks unfold before you.
Descend along the scenic zigzag road to Everest Base Camp (5,000 m). With each turn, Everest reveals itself ever closer, culminating in a breathtaking arrival beneath its towering north face.
As evening approaches, witness Everest bathed in golden alpenglow, followed by an unforgettable night sky where the Milky Way shimmers above the world’s highest mountain.

Everest Base Camp–Sakya–Shigatse Drive: 380 km | approx. 8/10 hrs

Begin the day with a visit to Rongbuk Monastery (5,154 m), the highest monastery on earth, offering a serene spiritual encounter beneath Everest’s north face.
Return to Shigatse via an alternative scenic route through Dinggye, stopping at Dinggye Xilin Viewpoint to admire Everest’s eastern slope, Mount Lhotse (8,516 m), and expansive Himalayan wetlands.
Continue to the ancient town of Sakya, briefly exploring its historic streets before arriving back in Shigatse.
In the evening, celebrate your Everest achievement with a visit to a traditional Tibetan Langma Hall, enjoying folk music and dance performances.

Shigatse – Lhasa
