Itinerary
As you arrive in Kathmandu, you are received at the aircraft door and fast-tracked through all formalities effortless, discreet, precise.
You are transferred to Dwarika’s Hotel, a sanctuary of craftsmanship and calm.
Depending on arrival time, your afternoon unfolds gently:
A curated visit to Patan Durbar Square or
A quiet exploration of Swayambhunath
Alternatively, the evening may be left completely free allowing rest, spa, or stillness.
This is a soft landing nothing rushed, everything intentional.

Before the city awakens, you arrive at Pashupatinath for VIP darshan.
Here, a Vedic priest interprets the deeper philosophy of Shiva not mythology, but consciousness and liberation.
You are given time not rushed movement.
Later, at Boudhanath, the experience becomes meditative:
Prayer wheels, soft chants, and a silent circular walk.
The evening may include a private monk dialogue authentic and reflective.
Two traditions. One awareness.

You travel to Pokhara either by scenic flight (recommended) or luxury drive for a slower transition.
Upon arrival, check into The Pavilions Himalayas or Sarangkot Mountain Lodge.
The Himalayas reveal themselves quietly.
No heavy programming.
The mountains do the work.
An early morning flight to Jomsom begins the transition.
From here, a private vehicle takes you toward Muktinath.
The terrain becomes stark, elemental almost otherworldly.
At Muktinath, your darshan is guided but unhurried.
The 108 water spouts, the eternal flame, and the sacred silence create a deeply personal experience. Overnight in Jomsom at the best available premium lodge.
This is the spiritual core of the journey.

You fly back to Pokhara in the morning.
The rest of the day is intentionally open:
Optional yoga or breathwork
Spa and wellness therapies
Quiet lakeside reflection at Phewa Lake
Integration is as important as experience.

A short flight brings you back to Kathmandu.
Check once again into Dwarika’s Hotel.
The evening may include:
A private blessing ceremony, or
Time at leisure for reflection and rest
You return but not as you arrived.
Your journey concludes with seamless airport assistance.
No rush. No stress.
What you take with you is not just memory but a subtle shift within

Dos
-
Respect Local Customs and Traditions: Nepal is home to diverse ethnic groups with deep-rooted cultural practices. Familiarize yourself with these customs to show respect. For example, greeting people with a traditional “Namaste” (pressing your palms together with a slight bow) is appreciated. Observing local etiquette, such as removing your hat when entering a temple, reflects cultural sensitivity.
-
Dress Modestly: Modesty in clothing is valued, especially in rural areas and religious sites. Wearing clothes that cover your shoulders and knees is advisable. This not only shows respect but also helps you blend in with the local environment, avoiding unwanted attention.
-
Remove Shoes at Religious Sites and Homes: It is customary in Nepal to remove your shoes before entering temples, monasteries, and private residences. This practice maintains cleanliness and shows reverence. Carrying a pair of clean socks or slip-on shoes can make this easier.
-
Practice Responsible Tourism: Nepal’s natural beauty is fragile. Avoid littering and use designated trails during treks to protect the environment. Carry reusable water bottles to reduce plastic waste. Supporting local businesses and artisans helps sustain the community economically.
-
Learn Basic Nepali Phrases: Simple greetings and polite expressions such as “Namaste” (hello), “Dhanyabad” (thank you), and “Kripaya” (please) create positive interactions. Locals appreciate when visitors make an effort to speak their language, even if only a few words.
Dont’s
-
Disrespect Religious Sites and Beliefs: Nepal is predominantly Hindu and Buddhist, and religious sites are sacred. Avoid touching statues or sacred objects without permission, and never take photos where it is prohibited. Loud behavior or inappropriate attire inside temples can be offensive.
-
Avoid Public Displays of Affection: Nepali society tends to be conservative. Public displays of affection such as kissing or hugging are generally frowned upon, especially in rural areas and near religious sites. Maintaining decorum in public spaces is respectful.
-
Do Not Use Your Left Hand for Eating or Handing Items: In Nepali culture, the left hand is traditionally considered unclean because it is used for personal hygiene. Always use your right hand when eating, giving, or receiving items to avoid causing offense.
-
Refrain from Giving Money or Sweets to Street Children: Although it may seem kind, giving money or sweets to children begging on the streets can encourage dependency and discourage school attendance. Instead, support reputable local charities focused on education and welfare.
-
Respect Local Customs During Festivals: Nepal hosts many vibrant festivals throughout the year, such as Dashain and Tihar. Participate respectfully by observing local traditions and following guidance from community members. Avoid disruptive behavior that might spoil the festive spirit.
