Going Nepal Pvt. Ltd. is a DMC (Destination Management Company) and B2B tourism partner based in Nepal. Despite being a new entrant in the industry, we have achieved remarkable success and are now seeking to partner with successful companies that share our understanding and appreciation for the potential of tourism in Nepal. Our goal is to establish tourism as a thriving industry that can positively impact and improve lives. Nepal is a country with rich natural beauty, historic cultural practices, and diverse religious beliefs and customs. To promote Nepal as a tourism destination, we have launched goingnepal.com, which has become a prominent local travel agency in Nepal for both international and domestic tourists.
Our team has decades of experience in serving the tourism industry and has earned the trust of high-level travelers, students, and solo travelers. We are committed to upholding the values of trusted hospitality, tourism entrepreneurship, and social responsibility in our community. We have extended our services beyond geographical boundaries by collaborating with renowned companies around the world. As a renowned travel agency, we prioritize customer satisfaction and honesty in all our operations. We are the only company in Nepal to have initiated the B2B system, which allows interested visitors to log in and customize their trip by viewing hotels, rates, and tourist destinations in Nepal and the neighboring Himalayan regions. Note: We do not allow the purchase of souvenirs containing threatened flora and fauna species, any illegally obtained historic/archaeological artifacts, drugs or illegal substances, and abide by local and international laws in place to prevent this.
In the upcoming conditions “You/ Yours” refers to the clients or the byers and venders refers the suppliers such as hotel, resort, vehicle suppliers.
1. Reservation and Contract Formation
- All bookings must be confirmed in writing via email, signed agreement, or approved invoice.
- A binding contract shall be deemed effective only upon receipt by Going Nepal of the required deposit.
- All prices are subject to availability and may be reconfirmed until the deposit is received.
- Going Nepal reserves the right to amend prices prior to confirmation due to currency fluctuations, changes in government taxes, fuel surcharges, or supplier cost revisions.
2. Payment Terms
- A deposit of 25% of the total booking cost (“Deposit”) is payable upon booking confirmation.
- The remaining balance (“Final Balance”) of 75% must be paid in full no later than twenty-one (21) days prior to the Client’s scheduled arrival date.
- For peak seasons, luxury accommodations, helicopter flights, charter services, special permits, festive periods, or exclusive arrangements, higher deposits or full pre-payment may be required, with prior notification to the Client.
- Failure to comply with the payment schedule shall entitle Going Nepal to cancel the reservation and retain any payments made without refund.
3. Short-Notice Bookings
- Bookings made within thirty (30) days of arrival require immediate payment of 50% of the total cost.
- Bookings made within fifteen (15) days of arrival require immediate payment of 100% of the total cost.
- Confirmation of services is contingent upon receipt and clearance of funds.
4. Cancellation Policy
- All cancellations must be submitted in writing and acknowledged by Going Nepal.
- Cancellation fees, calculated on the total confirmed tour cost, shall apply as follows:
- More than 45days – 25%
- 15-45days – 75%
- Less than 15 days or No show – 100%
- Certain services including air tickets, helicopter flights, luxury lodges, charter flights, peak season hotels, special events, and permits may be non-refundable or subject to stricter supplier conditions, which shall override this cancellation scale.
5. Amendments and Revisions
- Any modification to confirmed itineraries is subject to availability and supplier approval.
- Amendments may incur re-booking fees, supplier penalties, and rate adjustments.
- Changes such as date alterations, routing modifications, name corrections, room upgrades, or service substitutions may be treated as cancellations and require re-confirmation.
- Going Nepal disclaims liability for any price increases imposed by third-party suppliers after confirmation.
6. Refund Policy
- Refunds, where applicable, will be processed after deduction of cancellation fees, supplier penalties, and bank transaction charges.
- Refund processing typically requires 15 to 30 working days following final settlement with suppliers.
- No refunds shall be issued for unused services, missed departures, early check-outs, weather-related disruptions, or voluntary itinerary changes during travel.
7. Force Majeure
- Going Nepal shall not be liable for delays, changes, or non-performance resulting from events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, extreme weather, political unrest, government restrictions, pandemics, or transportation disruptions.
- In such cases, Going Nepal will endeavor to assist in arranging alternative services; however, refunds are subject to recoveries from suppliers and are not guaranteed.
8. Travel Insurance Requirement
- All travelers must obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering medical treatment, emergency evacuation, trip interruption, cancellation protection, personal belongings, and applicable adventure activities.
- Going Nepal shall bear no responsibility for losses or expenses arising from uninsured risks.
9. Client Responsibilities
- Clients are responsible for possessing valid passports, visas, permits, health certificates, and meeting all entry requirements.
- Non-compliance may result in denied boarding or entry without entitlement to refund.
- Clients must comply with local laws, customs, safety protocols, and instructions from guides or service providers.
- Any loss, damage, or misconduct caused by the Client shall be compensated directly to the affected service provider.
10. Limitation of Liability
- Going Nepal acts solely as an organizer and intermediary for airlines, hotels, transport operators, and activity providers.
- Going Nepal shall not be liable for injury, illness, death, loss, damage, service failures by third parties, delays, cancellations, or force majeure events.
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
- This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Nepal.
- Any disputes arising hereunder shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nepal.
12. Acceptance of Terms
- Confirmation of any booking with Going Nepal constitutes full legal acceptance of these Booking, Payment & Cancellation Policies.

Child Policy
Going Nepal welcomes children of all ages to experience our travel services. We strive to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for children and their families, and have established the following policies:
1. Age Requirements
- Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
- The minimum age requirement for certain activities, such as trekking or adventure sports, may vary depending on the supplier’s policy and local regulations. It is your responsibility to inquire about the age requirements before booking any activity.
2. Child Discounts
- Some suppliers may offer discounts or free services for children under a certain age, which may vary depending on the supplier’s policy and local regulations, however, in general, Age between 5 to 10 will have to pay 50% of what their parents pays.
- Going Nepal will pass on any available child discounts to you and will inform you of the applicable policies and requirements.
3. Child Seats and Safety
- Going Nepal strongly recommends the use of child seats for all children under the age of 8 or under 135cm in height, in accordance with local laws and regulations.
- It is your responsibility to request a child seat in advance and ensure that it is properly installed and used throughout the journey.
- Going Nepal is not responsible for any injuries or damages resulting from the failure to use or properly install a child seat
4. Child-friendly Accommodations and Activities
- Going Nepal can recommend child-friendly accommodations and activities upon request, but is not responsible for the suitability or quality of these services.
- It is your responsibility to ensure that the accommodations and activities are suitable and safe for your children, and comply with any applicable laws and regulations.
5. Special Requests and Accommodations
- If you have any special requests or accommodations for your child, such as dietary restrictions or medical conditions, please inform us in advance so that we can make the necessary arrangements.
- Going Nepal will make every effort to accommodate your requests, but cannot guarantee that all requests can be fulfilled
6. Liability and Disclaimer
- Going Nepal is not liable for any injuries, damages, or losses that may occur to children during their travel, unless caused by our negligence or breach of contract.
- It is your responsibility to supervise your child at all times and ensure their safety during the travel.
- Going Nepal recommends that you purchase comprehensive travel insurance that covers your child for any unexpected incidents that may occur during the travel.
